We went to Ulalena. This fabulous stage shows us Hawaii's history through the hula, modern dance, music and live drum performance.

As you learn more about the Hawaiian history, the mythologies, hula, Hawaiian language and the culture, you will like the show more and more. I thought the story is a little difficult to understand for most of visitors and just-became-Kama'ainas, if they haven't learned Hawaiian history before. Here are some stories that relate to the Ulalena. They are very popular myths and all kids in Hawaii know them.

Musical at Stepstone Theatre, Kaahumanu SC

My friend, Annie is on stage today! She is a member of MAPA (Maui Academy of Performing Arts) and a great singer and actor! We have seen her performances a couple of times and we loved them all. MAPA is a group of armature performers on Maui. However, their performances are very professional, all the members are great singers, beautiful dancers and wonderful actors.


This time, they show us a Musical Cinderella. You may think it is only for kids but Annie said people in all ages can enjoy the show.

Maui Marathon in September!

Affordable Golf in Kaanapali!

We played golf yesterday at Kaanapali Golf Course.

Regular round is $150 to $200, but what we did was Twilight, 9 hole round. It was only $55!

Tee times are after 3:30 pm up to the sunset. We had plenty of time to play half round and was nice exercise after work.
